"Digital 2.0" is an online lecture series about technological inventions for our digitalized future offerde by the University of Luxembourg Omniversité, the DESCOM department and GoldenMe. The aim of these multilingual online lectures is to let scientists show and explain different topics they are currently researching on.
The lectures are multilingual, free of charge and designed for non-experts!
About the lecturer:
Eduardo Schmidt is a doctoral researcher at University of Luxembourg's Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT). He is working on multi-abstraction situational awareness for mobile robots at the Automation and Robotics Research Group (ARG).

The world through a robot’s eyes (EN)
How does a robot perceive and understand the environment? This presentation will introduce the fundamental concepts behind robotics perception, as well as the most recent research trends in the field.
